Lindsey Crumbaugh is the Portfolio Manager of NPX where she is responsible for building NPX’s Donor Impact Fund portfolios.
Prior to NPX, Lindsey was the Managing Director of Samaschool, a program that trains low-income individuals to secure and sustain work in the digital economy. At Samaschool she grew the number of people served by 30x, and increased earned revenue from 0% to 20% of total budget. Before Samaschool, Lindsey held a number of positions for Samaschool’s parent organization, Samasource, a social business with a mission to reduce global poverty through impact sourcing. At Samasource, she launched the organization’s first owned and operated work center in Nairobi, Kenya, which employs over 2,000 people; and oversaw and raised over $6 million to pursue strategic initiatives.
Before Samasource, Lindsey worked for the Clinton Health Access Initiative in Zambia serving as the Deputy Country Director and Senior Program Manager for the Human Resources for Health program. In this capacity she worked with the Zambian government to execute national strategies aimed at increasing the public’s access to health services.
Lindsey started her career in finance, working in private equity and investment banking. Throughout her career, Lindsey has provided advisory support to a variety of nonprofits and social enterprises ranging from rural community health to financial health. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in applied economics and management from Cornell University.
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys traveling, hiking, going to live events, and continually learning to cook. She lives in Atlanta with her partner and their son.
